Staff Member Profile: Pierce Kuhl

Pierce is a graduate of Lawrence North High School in 2008, and this is his first real experience in online journalism. He also works for WFYI in Indianapolis, the home for Public Broadcasting for all of Indiana, as an intern.

In high school, Pierce earned four letters between cross country and track & field for the Wildcats of Lawrence North. His senior year, he posted All-County, All-Sectional, and All-Regional performances in cross, including a career high second place at the Brebeuf sectional. His track season went well also. At the state finals, Pierce was the second leg on the Wildcats’ eighth place 4x800 meter relay team, helping boost the team to a Runner-Up finish.

Currently, Pierce is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Indiana University. He will be attending there this fall for the first time, and he will also be pursuing a double-major in Marketing at the Kelly School of Business.
