Colin begins his fourth season covering cross country and track & field. He began writing articles on girls cross country and has been a driving force behind all girls coverage since. Colin now covers the girls on a statewide basis as well as ranking the New Haven Semistate girls.
In high school, Colin lettered seven times between cross country and track at Fort Wayne Snider and was captain of both teams in his senior year. Colin participated in the 2004 and 2006 state finals on the Panthers’ 4x800 meter relay and was an alternate on a cross country team that finished fourth place at the 2004 state finals. He has gone on to compete at Franklin College, running a leg on a school record Distance Medley Relay.
Currently, Colin is in his junior year at Franklin College, completing his degree in social studies education with a minor in Spanish. He is also a volunteer assistant cross country coach for the Bull Dogs of Columbus North under Rick Weinheimer. Colin’s father, Brad, is an assistant coach at Fort Wayne Snider and the two have shared Indianapolis Colts tickets for over a decade.
