Our staff of six has released its latest rankings by semistate. Bloomington South, Carmel, Carroll and Lake Central stay up front in the girls lists with Carmel, Carroll, McCutcheon and Floyd Central headlining their areas for the boys.

Interview with Mike Fout
In the fall of 2006, a relatively unknown junior from LaPorte shocked the field at the New Prairie Invitational. A little over a year later, he was pulling away from one of the strongest fields in the history of the Foot Locker Championships to win a national cross country title. Semi State Discussion
Every year, coaches, athletes and fans alike debate how to make the most fair way to align the tournament. Coordinator Colin Altevogt and Brandon Jones exchanged emails on this topic. We are now looking for photographers to take pictures that we can use on our site during meets this season. Interview with Jordan Fife
Six years ago, Jordan Fife graduated from Seymour High School, where he earned All-State honors in cross country his senior year. He went on to Indiana State to become a two-time D-1 All-American and now is running professionally for Team Indiana Team. He just competed in the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon earlier this month. - ( Full Interview )

Interview with Brad Peterson
Last fall, the Indiana Tech running program was born. Indiana Tech is an NAIA university in Fort Wayne. The program became a major success from the very start and many believe, within a couple of years, it will be among the very best NAIA programs in the nation. The debate among Indiana’s best male distance runner ever always begins with the same person: Rudy Chapa of Hammond. In fact, all of our staff members pointed to Chapa in their top ten lists. IndianaRunner.com is Back!
IndianaRunner.com was started in June 2000 and remained for 5 1/2 years. It covered six cross country and five track seasons. Starting January 2006 IndianaRunner.com was leased to a company called Hoosier Authority. But now IR is back and will bring you coverage of the 2008 Indiana high school cross country season! Colin Altevogt and Brandon Jones will be the main guys. Original IR creator Derek Leininger will return, as well.
